Why do you seal the entry points instead of just removing the animal?
Removal alone leaves the access open for the next animal. Sealing and reinforcing the entry points is the permanent fix, which is why exclusion is part of every wildlife job.
Can't you just seal the hole right away for bats?
Not during maternity season — roughly June to mid-August flightless pups may be inside. We exclude humanely once they can fly so none are sealed in, in line with how protected bats must be handled.
